Associations and Memberships

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) – Founded in 1912, the BBB is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing marketplace trust, consisting of independently incorporated local BBB organizations in the United States and Canada. Nearly 400,000 local businesses in North America support the BBB. The BBB prospects successfully vetted businesses to become dues-paying Accredited Businesses that pledge and continue to adhere to the BBB Code of Business Practices. In return, the BBB allows Accredited Businesses in good standing to use its trademarked logo in marketing materials. The BBB is not affiliated with any governmental agency. Businesses that affiliate with the BBB and adhere to its standards do so through industry self-regulation. To avoid bias, the BBB’s policy is to refrain from recommending or endorsing any specific business, product or service.

The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) – As a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, Careful Home Inspections stays current with applicable building standards and changes, seeks information from other industry professionals, participates in ongoing educational opportunities and endeavors to remain skilled in inspection techniques and reporting requirements.

The Austin Board of Realtors (ABOR) – Membership allows Greenwade Inspections access to properties without a Realtor present.

Texas Professional Real Estate Inspectors Association (TPREIA) – TPREIA’s goals are to enhance consumer protection and promote public awareness of the inspection industry by providing leadership through professional education and training to maintain the highest of ethical and technical standards. We provide a selection of training and educational programs including monthly Chapter meetings, educational conferences, public awareness press releases, technical bulletin boards and outstanding vendor resources. TPREIA Members are required to maintain a greater number of continuing education hours each year than is required by the State; we want to exceed your expectations.TPREIA mission statement: To advance the Texas Real Estate Inspection industry; to recognize and promote Real Estate Inspection as a distinct profession; to provide leadership through education and to maintain ethical and technical standards; to enhance consumer protection and promote public awareness of the Industry and the Association.

The Business Networking International (BNI) – With over 150,000 members worldwide, BNI is the largest business networking organization in the world. Last year alone, BNI generated 7.1 million referrals resulting in $3.3 billion dollars worth of business for its members. We offer members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals.
